We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager with previous residential management experience, to become a service manager.

You will be responsible for the direct line management of several team managers in the service. You will use your business knowledge and Children’s Social Care expertise to ensure that team managers and their teams are confident in delivering outstanding Residential and Resource Services across the county, which are based on well-informed risk assessments and the assessed needs of the children and young people.
You will be a caring and compassionate leader with a style that creates a culture of positivity that inspires others to deliver high quality care. You will have experience of working with children and young people with an in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of managing child protection, safeguarding and risk management issues within children’s services.
This role is vital to the successful delivery of an effective countywide residential and resource service for children and young people therefore the role requires good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and to manage changing priorities.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Adolescent Services, you will ensure effective operational delivery within budget of the service area, in line with the Vital Signs vision, our legal obligations and Ofsted requirements.
