Job Description

Norm Reeves Dealerships is a nationally-recognized group of privately-owned retail automotive dealerships located in Southern California, Texas, and Florida. With a history dating back to 1963, our group has established a reputation for innovation, integrity, and customer-centric services. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for talented individuals that are eager to grow their careers while the company continues to expand!

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our busy service department at our Mazda dealership. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong automotive leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, driving department performance, and building a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has prior automotive service management experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of increasing customer satisfaction, productivity, and profitability.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the service department
  • Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive service experience
  • Monitor shop productivity, efficiency, and repair quality
  • Drive service sales, labor gross profit, and departmental performance
  • Maintain CSI scores and ensure customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Manage workflow, scheduling, dispatching, and repair order processes
  • Ensure warranty compliance and manufacturer standards are followed
  • Work closely with the parts and sales departments to support dealership goals
  • Recruit, train, and retain top service talent
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment

What You'll Need:

  • Previous automotive service management experience required
  • Dealership experience required
  • Mazda experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of service operations, warranty procedures, and shop workflow
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to drive KPIs including labor sales, ELR, CSI, and technician productivity
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
