You’ll play a key role in leading a high-performing Subaru Service Department, delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting a dedicated team, and helping grow a business representing one of Australia's most trusted automotive brands.

What you'll do

• Lead, motivate, and support your Service Team to deliver high-quality workmanship, strong productivity, and outstanding customer outcomes.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure every guest receives a professional, transparent, and enjoyable Subaru service experience.
• Oversee daily service operations, including workshop productivity, technician performance, customer communication, and process compliance.
• Work closely with the Workshop Controller to maximise workshop utilisation, efficiency, and service department performance.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, expenses, profitability, and customer satisfaction results, implementing strategies to drive continual improvement.
• Maintain exceptional presentation standards across the Subaru Service Centre and customer-facing facilities.
• Stay up to date with Subaru products, service programs, technical developments, and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with all Inchcape policies, manufacturer requirements, and WHS obligations.

About you

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or Senior Service Advisor leading a successful automotive service department.
• Automotive dealership experience is essential, with Subaru experience highly regarded.
• An engaging and resilient leader who can coach teams, drive performance, and create a positive workplace culture.
• Strong understanding of workshop operations, service processes, customer retention strategies, and OEM standards.
• High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems; ERA Net experience is advantageous.
• Current driver's licence is essential.
• Trade qualifications as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic are highly desirable.
