We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our regional Service Centre, overseeing service operations, team performance, financial outcomes, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient repair, maintenance, and support of specialised equipment while driving service excellence and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Service Centre, including service delivery, team leadership, budgeting, and customer support. You will play a key role in developing strong customer relationships, improving operational performance, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Service Centre operations and staff performance.
• Oversee equipment servicing, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance scheduling, and technical support.
• Manage service budgets, profitability, revenue, and cost centre performance.
• Ensure accurate service documentation, invoicing, quotations, warranty claims, and inventory management.
• Develop, coach, and support service technicians, apprentices, and other service team members.
• Build strong relationships with customers, dealers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive service best practice, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational efficiency.
• Champion workplace health, safety, and compliance standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading service, workshop, or maintenance teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of turf, agricultural, construction, or related equipment.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, service performance, and customer outcomes.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
• A commitment to safety, team development, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Valid Australian Driver Licence.
• Valid passport.
• Willingness to undertake occasional interstate travel.
