What started in 1976 as a single-bay operation in a small gas station on Cincinnati's east side has grown into something remarkable - the nation's largest 100% family-owned and operated independent tire provider. Founder Chip Wood's vision has flourished into over 200 locations across eight states, yet the company remains rooted in the same family values that started it all.
Today, while Chip continues as Chairman and sole owner, he's thoughtfully transitioning leadership to the next generation. President Jamie Ward, who has dedicated more than 25 years to the company, drives daily operations while working closely with Chip's children - Anna, Steven, and Evan - as they learn every aspect of the business from the ground up.
From our downtown Cincinnati headquarters, we've built our reputation on innovation and care for our customers. We lead the industry in providing unique benefits with every tire installation including lifetime rotation and balancing, tire inflation, flat repair, and free alignment with a 4-tire purchase.
