Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology services leader to join our team as a Service Line Principal This role is primarily focused on Service Line Development (30%) and Solution Development (50%), with additional responsibilities in Technical Delivery Leadership and Governance (20%)

The ideal candidate is an experienced technology services leader with broad knowledge across modern technology services delivery, presales support, architectures, delivery models, and platforms,. The Principal collaborates with global stakeholders to develop and continuously improve Service Line capabilities, offerings, and methods, and spends significant time in client-facing presales activities to understand client needs and develop compelling solutions and proposals for our customers. The Principal also provides senior technical leadership and governance across client engagements without direct hands-on execution.

What you get to do:

Service Line Development (30%)

  • Spearhead the continuous improvement and growth of the Service Line, including the creation and improvement of Service Line offerings and capabilities to meet evolving customer and industry needs.
  • Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks to enhance delivery consistency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop technical leaders and senior engineers within the Service Line.
  • Provide thought leadership related to the Service Line and evolving client needs.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of reusable Service Line assets, accelerators, case studies, and delivery frameworks.
  • Act as a Thought Leader, representing Randstad Digital at industry conferences and through white papers to build brand awareness.

Solution Development (50%)

  • Develop and present Randstad Digital's solutions and services to clients
  • Collaborate with sales teams to conduct in-depth discovery calls and meetings with prospective customers.
  • Evaluate client Request for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI) and match against Randstad Digital's core capabilities and industry service provider competitive landscape
  • Provide applicable input for client RFP response documents according to RFP submission timelines
  • Develop technical proposals, solution architectures, and SOWs (Statements of Work) that clearly outline the proposed solution, its components, and the value.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management, Legal, and Contract Management teams on client agreements, Statements of Work, and proposals.
  • Lead or participate in onsite or remote down selection meetings with clients
  • Answer technical questions and address concerns from customers, stakeholders, and C-level executives

Technical Delivery Leadership and Governance (20%)

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical governance for the successful execution of Service Line solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and established best practices.
  • Oversee end-to-end solution delivery from a technical governance perspective, ensuring high-quality execution and deliverables without direct hands-on execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on technology platforms, architecture decisions, delivery approaches, and engineering best practices to drive successful outcomes.
  • Direct and mentor Service Line team members who support candidate screening, ensuring consistent technical evaluation standards.
  • Provide thought leadership on Service Line delivery models, deal and solution architecture, and strategy:
  • Guide and mentor project teams, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, architecture principles, and internal technical governance across all Service Line deliveries.

What you need to bring:

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements, conferences, and internal leadership meetings.
  • 10+ years of experience in technology services delivery with increasing responsibility in leadership roles.
  • Broad experience across Service Line domains.
  • Prior experience providing leadership for technology services practices or engagement portfolios in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Prior experience in presales support and proposal development - developing complex solutions and managed services for clients
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and pricing methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical engagements and drive successful outcomes.
  • Experience in Global Delivery models balancing offshore, nearshore and onshore teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience mentoring and developing technical teams.
  • Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives

Addendum: Data and Insights

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design and technical governance across data migration, modernization, MLOps/DataOps, and analytics.
  • Maintain technical fluency across modern cloud ecosystems (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, GCP) and common legacy environments.
  • Represent the Data practice as the Principal SME in key sales and client discussions, ensuring credibility and alignment between solution design and delivery capacity.

Additional Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in data engineering, architecture, or delivery leadership, including enterprise-scale migration or modernization programs
  • Expertise in modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Hands-on background in data migration and modernization from on-prem to cloud lakehouse architectures
  • Strong foundation in DataOps, MLOps, CI/CD, orchestration, and monitoring
  • Background implementing Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance frameworks
  • Familiarity with data catalogs, lineage tools, observability, and quality automation
  • Experience designing and governing solutions for ETL/ELT, streaming, distributed compute, and analytics
