The role carries end-to-end accountability for the strategic and commercial performance of the service line. Reporting to the Electrification & Automation Customer Service Head, the Head leads through a global matrix, develops regional Customer Service leaders, and drives results through influence, commercial judgment and disciplined execution

How You'll Make an Impact

Strategic Vision & Ownership

  • Own the global Strategic Services business, defining strategy, targets and portfolio direction across long-term service agreements, operations and maintenance contracts, and recurring-revenue models.
  • Increase installed-base penetration, post-warranty retention, contract attachment and renewals by building scalable, performance-oriented lifecycle services.
  • Translate customer and market priorities into growth initiatives, portfolio roadmaps and differentiated value based on Siemens’ OEM and lifecycle expertise.

Business & Financial Leadership

  • Hold end-to-end P&L accountability for revenue, profitability, cash, productivity, pricing, investments and overall portfolio performance.
  • Allocate resources to high-return opportunities and scale commercially sustainable long-term service models across countries and customer segments.
  • Apply sound commercial judgment to major offers, customer commitments and risks while protecting customer value, delivery performance and margins.

Global Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead through influence across a global matrix, aligning regional Customer Service leaders, Business Units, Operations and functional partners behind common priorities.
  • Develop, coach and mentor Customer Service leaders across regions, strengthening the global leadership community and organizational maturity.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the Service Head and Business Unit Leadership, advancing decisions and translating strategic direction into execution.

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Shape scalable delivery and resource models that improve service quality, responsiveness, technical performance and operational reliability.
  • Drive service-line governance and performance management with Operations and other key functions, including disciplined offer and investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety, cybersecurity, data protection, export control, ethical and regulatory requirements.

Customer & Market Focus

  • Build long-term customer partnerships that improve equipment availability, operational resilience, maintenance predictability and lifecycle performance.
  • Enable countries with standardized contracts, service-level models, pricing frameworks and capabilities required to grow and execute the business.
  • Use market intelligence, customer insights and installed-base knowledge to identify growth opportunities and strengthen Siemens’ position as a trusted lifecycle partner.

What You Bring

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in service, operations, business development or portfolio leadership within a technology-driven industry.
  • Proven record of building and growing businesses with significant P&L responsibility and strong commercial decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in international matrix organizations and align stakeholders beyond formal authority.
  • Experience developing leaders, building high-performing teams and increasing organizational maturity across regions.
  • Relevant understanding of lifecycle services, energy, electrification, automation or comparable industrial environments, combined with strong learning agility.
  • Executive-level communication, customer orientation and credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.

What We Offer

  • Attractive share programs, allowing you to become a Siemens shareholder and participate directly in the company's long-term success.
  • A global organization of outstanding engineers and an executive environment that treats technology as a strategic asset.
