The Challenge

This senior leadership role owns the global Data Driven Services line within Electrification & Automation Customer Service, covering Electrification X, data-driven and managed digital services, automation and protection-related services, industrial IoT, and cybersecurity services within the approved portfolio.

The role turns operational data and digital capabilities into measurable customer outcomes and scales focused use cases into repeatable global businesses. Reporting to the Electrification & Automation Customer Service Head, the Head carries end-to-end strategic and commercial accountability and leads through a global matrix.

How You'll Make an Impact

Strategic Vision & Ownership

• Own the global Data Driven Services business, defining strategy, targets and portfolio direction across digital, managed, automation, protection, industrial IoT and cybersecurity services.
• Incubate focused digital use cases and scale successful offerings into repeatable, commercially significant global businesses.
• Translate customer, operational and market needs into adoption priorities, recurring-service growth and innovation roadmaps.

Business & Financial Leadership

• Hold end-to-end P&L accountability for revenue, profitability, cash, productivity, pricing, investments and recurring-service performance.
• Build and scale subscription, service-attachment and managed-service models that improve adoption, retention and profitable growth.
• Apply disciplined portfolio and commercial governance to customer commitments, investments, service performance, risks and margins.

Global Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead through influence across a global matrix, aligning regions, digital portfolio management, R&D, Operations, Cybersecurity, sales and customer-facing functions.
• Develop, coach and mentor Customer Service leaders while strengthening digital capabilities and organizational maturity across regions.
• Act as a trusted partner to the Service Head and Business Unit Leadership and mobilize internal and partner ecosystems to scale the business.

Operational Excellence & Governance

• Establish scalable digital-service delivery models with clear service ownership, system boundaries, service levels, access models and escalation paths.
• Improve system availability, resilience and recovery through monitoring, remote diagnostics, automation, protection-system services and effective use of operational data.
• Govern remote connectivity, cybersecurity and data handling and ensure compliance with applicable safety, data protection, export-control and regulatory requirements, including NIS2 and IEC 62443 where relevant.

Customer & Market Focus

• Help customers improve system visibility, decision-making, operational performance and lifecycle management through measurable digital-service outcomes.
• Support customers in managing the convergence of operational technology, information technology and cybersecurity requirements.
• Enable countries with clear digital sales plays, service definitions, commercial models, architecture boundaries and capabilities required for execution.

What You Bring

• Extensive senior leadership experience in digital or managed services, industrial IoT, automation, protection systems, OT cybersecurity or a comparable technology-driven service environment.
• Proven record of building and scaling digital businesses with significant P&L responsibility and recurring-revenue or managed-service models.
• Ability to engage credibly with IT, AI, data, automation, protection and cybersecurity experts without being the deepest specialist in every discipline.
• Entrepreneurial track record of starting with focused use cases, learning rapidly and scaling successful offerings across countries and customers.
• Strong experience leading through influence in international matrix organizations and developing leaders across regions.
• Executive-level communication, customer orientation and sound judgment in portfolio, investment, cybersecurity and commercial decisions.
