Job Description

For Linklaters Office in Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Service Governance Assistant role.

The Service Governance Assistant supports the IT Service Governance team in the delivery, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of multiple ITIL practices. This role is designed to provide broad exposure across a range of IT Service Management disciplines, including Asset Management, Capacity Management, Reporting & Performance Management, Request Management, Service Catalogue Management, Service Design, and Service Transition.

The role offers a significant opportunity to learn and develop practical experience across the ITIL service lifecycle while supporting governance activities, documentation, reporting, process improvement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with Service Governance Managers, operational teams, suppliers, and the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to help ensure processes are effective, documented, measurable, and aligned with business requirements.

A basic understanding of ITIL principles and IT Service Management is desirable, supported by a strong willingness to learn and develop within a service governance environment.

You will be responsible for:

Service Governance Support

  • Support the administration, governance, and continual improvement of multiple ITIL practices.

  • Maintain governance documentation, standards, procedures, and action tracking.

Process, Documentation & Data Management

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of process documentation, service records, knowledge articles, and governance artefacts.

  • Support data quality, record management, and audit evidence collection.

Reporting & Performance

  • Produce and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management information.

  • Analyse service data and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Service Lifecycle Support

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across Service Design, Service Transition, and operational service management activities.

  • Assist in ensuring services are properly documented, supportable, and governed throughout their lifecycle.

Continual Service Improvement

  • Contribute to process reviews, improvement initiatives, and governance enhancements across all supported ITIL practices.

  • Promote consistency, efficiency, and best practice adoption.

Learning & Professional Development

  • Develop practical experience across multiple ITIL disciplines including Asset Management, Capacity Management, Reporting & Performance, Request Management, Service Catalogue, Service Design, and Service Transition.

  • Participate in training, mentoring, and development activities to build a broad IT Service Management skillset.

Apply if you:

  • Are fluent in English

  • Have min. 1 year of experience in IT-related role

  • Have basic knowledge of ITIL

  • Are able to balance business outcomes, contractual constraints, and operational practicality

  • Have strong documentation, assurance, and stakeholder management skills

  • Warsaw (hybrid model – min. 2 days per week at the office)
