Through its Service Extension Program, The Salvation Army serves suburban and rural areas where no physical Salvation Army center exists.

The Service Extension Representative creates and maintains a Salvation Army presence in communities not served by a Corps by providing emergency assistance for the body and spiritual care for the soul. Provides direction to Service Extension Volunteers in the distribution of emergency assistance, fundraising and enhances corporate donor relationships within the service area.
About the role:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least three years of work and/or educational experience in social work, marketing or account management.
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certifications: Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clearance to drive from TSA’s insurance.
Travel: Must reside within Service Unit Counties or within 30 minutes of said counties. Regular travel throughout the assigned service area required.
Working Conditions: Regular travel through all types of weather conditions. Much of this job is performed indoors in normal room temperature conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. At times the duties will involve working with individuals having infectious and/or communicable diseases. Exposure to extreme conditions, especially in a disaster relief setting, will occasionally be required.

Full-time employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week will be eligible for full benefits, including health, dental, vision and hearing benefits, basic and voluntary life benefits, holiday pay and paid time off, which is pro-rated based on their regularly scheduled work week.
