Service Estimator & Coordinator Description

Our client is looking for a Service Estimator & Coordinator to add to their team. In this role, you will support the estimating and service teams by assisting with customer communications, quote preparation, dispatch coordination, and administrative processes throughout the sales cycle. You will play a key role in improving customer experience, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring accurate follow-through on service requests and estimates. To be considered, you must have strong organizational and communication skills, prior customer service experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. To thrive in this role, you must be proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with customers, technicians, and internal teams to solve problems efficiently. Service Estimator & Coordinator Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for estimating requests
• Gather and document detailed information regarding customer needs and job scope
• Communicate pricing, service options, and estimate details clearly
• Prepare, review, and follow up on customer quotes and estimates
• Support the estimating team with administrative coordination and job preparation activities
• Conduct preliminary assessments of customer issues to support estimate preparation
• Coordinate site visits for more complex service requests as needed
• Prepare accurate cost breakdowns including labor, materials, and related service costs
• Communicate scheduling details, customer information, and job updates to technicians
• Monitor technician progress and assist in resolving scheduling or service issues
• Maintain accurate customer records, service tickets, and documentation
• Support inventory coordination for commonly used parts and supplies
• Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned

Service Estimator & Coordinator Qualifications

• Customer service, estimating, or administrative experience required
• Basic understanding of the automotive service industry or shop operations required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
• Strong attention to detail required
