Job Description

Job  The ideal  candidate will be  responsible for assessing customer  needs,  providing accurate service  estimates,  and building strong relationships with clients This role  requires excellent communication skills,  technical knowledge of trailer services,  and the  ability to  work independently in a  fast-paced environment   Responsibilities and Duties 
  • Build and  maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and follow-up. 
  • Identify opportunities for  additional services and upselling based on customer needs. 
  • Maintain  accurate records of estimates, customer interactions, and follow-ups with weekly call logs and funnels sheets. 
  • Conduct on-site assessments of trailers to evaluate service needs and  determine accurate estimates for repairs, modifications, and maintenance. 
  • Prepare detailed and competitive service quotes, ensuring clarity and accuracy. 
  • Collaborate with service technicians to gather technical information and ensure estimates reflect necessary work. 
  • Stay  up to date with industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide informed recommendations. 
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote service offerings. 
  • Identify and research potential local customers through various channels, including online databases, social media, and community events. 
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers via phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to introduce our products/services. 
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with potential customers to present our  offerings and address any questions or concerns. 
  • Attend local networking events, trade shows, and community gatherings to promote our brand and generate leads. 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
      Skills and Qualifications 
  • 2+  years of Outside Sales experience with a  proven sales record  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong knowledge of trailer components, repair processes, and service requirements. 
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and CRM tools 
  • ERP experience is a plus, experience with Adjust-rite and/or  Karmak operating systems, preferred 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site evaluations up to 75% of the time within a given territory 
  • Highly self-motivated with an  aggressive “go-getter” attitude. 
  • Technical certification related to trailer repair or maintenance preferred. 
  Physical Requirements List applicable physical requirements depending on the  job responsibilities and duties Examples are  listed below for certain work environments   
  • Must be able to lift/carry  5 lbs frequently 
  • Must be able to lift/carry  25 lbs occasionally.  
  • Must be able to lift/carry  50 lbs infrequently.   
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
  • Prolonged periods of  walking and standing
