Service Engineer – Site Roskilde

We are looking for a Service Engineer with strong technical expertise and the ambition to grow into a specialist within monitoring and calibration solutions. Based in our Nordic office in Roskilde, you will become a key member of our Service Team, delivering calibration, installation, qualification, and technical support across the Nordic region.

A solid electrical background is required. However, previous experience with calibration is not necessary. We provide structured hands-on training in our systems, processes, and quality standards, ensuring you are fully equipped to perform the role with confidence.

Most of your working time will be spent at customer sites around Roskilde. You will collaborate closely with our headquarters in Switzerland and other European subsidiaries, supporting projects across Europe as needed. The role also includes up to 80 travel days per year to customers outside Denmark, as well as occasional training days at other ELPRO locations in Europe.

You are responsible for solution and service delivery

As our new Service Engineer, your primary responsibility is to provide a detailed and compliant service for our customers. Working in a regulated environment, accuracy and attention to detail is key. The role requires creative and practical problem-solving skills to maintain ELPRO’s high service and quality standards.

You will enjoy the following activities (included but not limited to)

  • Accredited ISO17025 calibration services
  • Solution hardware installation
  • Solution Software installation
  • System qualification testing and reporting
  • Thermal mapping services
  • Customer support - fault finding and corrective action
  • Service work and calibration on measuring instruments and monitoring systems

Qualifications

  • You have a proven track record of success in field-based technician and engineering work, with a minimum experience of 3-5 years and education in electrical installations.
  • Completed vocational training as an electrician
  • You have day to day IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft systems, any advance IT skills are an advantage.
  • You have worked with time-management skills, can adapt to different situations, are creative, confident and have a heart for service, solutions and winning.
  • Fluent in Danish and good in English (oral and written).
