Repair and Maintenance

• Independently diagnose malfunction, Identify required spare parts and coordinate order placement with customers.
• Perform repairs across various systems, including mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, control technology, and pneumatics.
• Develop and propose interim solutions in collaboration with in-house service and management during escalations and discuss these solutions with customers.
• Collaborate with internal experts to determine and implement effective solutions.
• Provide comprehensive documentation of all service applications performed.

Implementation and Installation

• Execute implementation procedures, addressing any issues in collaboration with management or In-house service to determine and implement appropriate action.
• Conduct machine handover procedure with customers, including customer specific programming and special adaptations, in consultation with management or in-house service.
• Perform customer installations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide detailed installation and implementation feedback for quality management purposes.
• Identify customer service training needs and communicate with Trumpf in-house service.

Preventive Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance according to established service schedules.
• Execute service procedures based on the complexity of the task.
• Advise customers on necessary repair points, coordinate spare part orders as needed, and document all service activities.
• Develop and update and adapt service checklists

Rebuilding and Retrofitting

• Perform machine rebuild and retrofit.
• Implement service updates and data protection measures.
• Provide technical innovation consultations to customers.

Product Care

• Document technical weaknesses in supplementary reports.
• Encourage and support continuous improvement processes.

Staff management

• Train new employees, identify training needs and communicate to management

Other duties

• Conduct operator and service training as required.
• Identify and support the procurement of necessary tools and equipment.
• Develop, update and adapt rebuilding instruction and training documentation.
• Provide production assistance to customer (e.g. efficiency analysis)

Job Requirement

• A team-player, with a goal-driven spirit, with an optimistic and persistent attitude, and service experience in handling day to day activities of Service department.
• Experience working within a multinational corporation (MNC) preferably in a matrix organizational structure.
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel within Asia and to the Germany Headquarters.
• At minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in similar environment/r field will be an added advantage.
• A professional Engineering qualification in Mechanical/Mechantronic/Electrical Engineering, (Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, IE) and other Windows Based programming tools (QuickFlow; TruControl)
• Excellent command of English - both spoken and written. Added advantage for knowledge of German language.
