Job Description

Service Engineer

Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsin accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with the service team to address customer needs and enhance service delivery.
Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions to complex equipment issues.
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts required, and job completion timelines.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site and promote a safety-conscious environment.
Assist in the identification of opportunities for service contracts and spare parts sales during service visits.
Foster strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service to build trust and repeat business.
Travel to customer sites as required for service delivery and emergencies.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.

Requirements

Technical diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience working with cranes or similar marine lifting equipment.
In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as necessary.
Proficient in MS Office and technical documentation.
Experience on marine/ offshore cranes and lifting equipment will be advantageous
