Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide prompt and effective technical support for Yokogawa automation systems, including:
    • CENTUM VP / CS3000 Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
    • ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS/ESD)
    • Plant Resource Manager (PRM)
    • FAST/TOOLS and STARDOM platforms
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, networking, and application-related issues reported by customers.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Maintenance & Lifecycle Services

  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on Yokogawa systems.
  • Perform system upgrades, migrations, software updates, and hardware replacements in accordance with Yokogawa standards.
  • Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and availability through proactive maintenance practices.

Engineering & System Modifications

  • Implement online and offline system modifications, enhancements, and expansions.
  • Support engineering activities including configuration, database modifications, graphics development, logic changes, and testing.
  • Participate in system commissioning, start-up, acceptance testing, and shutdown activities.

Customer Engagement & Training

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery and timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct customized training programs and technical workshops for customers.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommendations to improve plant performance and system availability.

Business Development Support

  • Identify opportunities for additional services, upgrades, lifecycle solutions, and maintenance agreements within existing customer accounts.
  • Support Yokogawa's service growth initiatives through customer engagement and value-added service delivery.

Site Support & Travel

  • Provide on-site support at customer facilities across Saudi Arabia based on Al Hassa, including offshore and remote locations when required.
  • Undertake short-term and long-term resident engineer assignments based on business and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in:
    • Instrumentation & Control Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Yokogawa systems, including:
    • CENTUM VP / CS3000
    • ProSafe-RS
    • PRM (Plant Resource Manager)
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • UGS
    • Unit Operations
    • SEBOL
    • Foundation Fieldbus
    • Modbus
    • Profibus
    • OPC (DA/UA)
    • Industrial Ethernet and Networking
    • FAST/TOOLS
    • STARDOM
  • Proven experience in:
    • DCS/SIS engineering and maintenance
    • System troubleshooting and diagnostics
    • Plant commissioning and start-up activities
    • Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Process Industries

Required Competencies

  • Strong ex
  • pertise in Yokogawa DCS and Safety Systems engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of process automation, control strategies, and online maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical capabilities.
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architecture.
  • Soft Skills

  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to service excellence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
