Job Description

If you are an Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career: this role offers the chance to support and service Emerson’s marine product portfolio while working closely with customers across diverse environments. You will contribute to reliable operations through commissioning, maintenance, and technical support, while building strong relationships and delivering high-quality service aligned with Emerson’s values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide customer-focused service, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Emerson marine products
  • Perform on-site activities such as commissioning, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
  • Prepare timely, accurate, and complete service reports in line with established standards
  • Deliver technical training and presentations to customers and internal teams to build product understanding and capability
  • Offer remote technical support via phone and email for both new and existing customers
  • Partner with sales teams to support technical discussions, customer meetings, and onboard surveys
  • Manage pre- and post-service administrative activities to ensure smooth execution and documentation

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the marine industry, working onboard vessels or offshore installations.
  • Good analytical & solving skills coupled with minimum sales/marketing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, especially influencing skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel, including frequent or short-notice assignments when required
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience on hydraulic systems and their applications
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and networking concepts (such as Modbus, P-NET, TCP/IP, and Ethernet)

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
