Job Description

Organization & Role

LitePoint is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Service team as a Field Service Engineer. This is a hands-on hardware test and support role focused on activities in Service Engineering lab. It involves active participation across cross functional teams, both technical and non-technical.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with customer for RMA service/logistics/status feedback /shipment arrangement.
  • Carry out routine service jobs including repairing/calibration/upgrade and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure service data integrity in database, Service Case/RMA/shipment/contract date on system accurately.
  • Work closely with other internal field services/applications, support local/regional customers.
  • Troubleshoot test stations, test fixtures and test applications in Service lab environment.
  • Calibration and maintenance of test stations and capital-intensive test equipment(s).
  • Mechanical aptitude for assembly, disassembly, and debugging of minor mechanical issues.
  • Support Aad-hoc requests addressed from management team if any.

Basic Requirement

  • Equipped with basic electrical / electronic background.
  • 5 years+ hands-on electronics experience (e.g., technician, engineer, lab work, etc.) is required.
  • Specific experience with RF Test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, etc.). Optical test experience/equipment will be an added advantage.
  • Good troubleshooting, failure analysis and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to describe a problem and the solving process effectively.
  • Commitment to a high standard of work and customer satisfaction.
  • Goal and results oriented, assertive, and hardworking.
  • Computer literate
  • Good at English in both verbal and written. Speaking Chinese will be an added advantage.
  • Enthusiastic to work on customer support. Must have a persistent attention to detail and quality.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic engineering.
  • Candidates with any other engineering or computer science background with relevant experience may also apply.
