Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

• Performs site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (e.g. X-ray, automated AFM, white light interferometry tools, nanomechanical tools)
• Performs corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support, basic application support and customer training.
• Build strong relationship with key accounts. Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure customer service satisfaction.
• Be flexible in schedule to accommodate the need of semiconductor business.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadline.
• Become a trusted advisor and support service contract and new tool sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Degree in physics, electrical engineering, materials science, chemistry or a related discipline.
• A current driving license in Japan.
• Able to work in production floor, cleanroom & laboratory environments.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated good communication skills.
• Proven ability to develop, communicate, implement, coordinate team, and execute assigned project; achieving all required deliverables on time.
• Capability to learn quickly and establish solid understanding in complex technical topics.
• Able to independently troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Able to conduct trainings. Experience in writing documentation.
• Experience in using standard tools such as oscilloscope and multimeter.
• Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry standard operating systems.
• Business-fluent English and Japanese.
