The Position

The Opportunity:

We’re hiring a Service Engineer to join Roche Diagnostics in Singapore.

In this role, you’ll support our diagnostic business across Core Lab, Molecular Lab and Pathology Lab, ensuring our instruments are installed, maintained, and performing at their best across customer sites — enabling reliable and timely patient care.

As the Service Engineer, you are responsible for:
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of diagnostic instruments
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise system downtime
• Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused field service support
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and ensuring a positive service experience
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high system uptime and reliability
• Deliver high-quality after-sales service and proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction

Who You Are:

  • Diploma or higher in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field is preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience in field service / technical support is preferred

  • Experience with clinical or laboratory instruments is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot independently in the field

  • Good communication skills and a customer-centric mindset

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license; role requires use of a personal vehicle (transport allowance provided)

  • Willingness to travel within Singapore, with flexibility to support after office hours and occasional weekends as part of field service responsibilities

  • This role requires a 7/24 standby rotational basis due to the job nature.

At Roche, you’ll have opportunities to grow across functions and geographies — where your role is just the starting point of your career journey.

This role is based in Singapore and usually does not require overseas travel.

If this sounds like you, or someone you know, feel free to reach out or apply.
