Job Description: Service Dispatcher

PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose service work, is hiring a Service Dispatcher at one of our Atlanta locations. Our fast-growing team is looking for someone who is energetic, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. At PIRTEK, our team works closely together and holds each other accountable to provide best-in-class customer service.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this position is friendly, approachable, and upbeat. You capture and accurately post incoming service call information. You directly contact customers to validate service call information, assess repair urgency, and make dispatching decisions accordingly. You work directly with a team of mobile technicians to evaluate progress and provide needed support. Once the service work is completed, you’ll review work orders in detail, and provide follow-up to customers. Additionally, you manage vehicle fleet maintenance to ensure operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Present a friendly, hospitable tone in communication with customers.
• Work closely with the customer service team to properly set ETA expectations.
• Efficiently dispatch technicians to cover daily emergency hose service work.
• Provide in-office support to the mobile technician team.
• Execute vehicle maintenance program to minimize fleet downtime.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Some exposure to construction equipment preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish desired, but not required.

Compensation: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
