Spreadex has been operating for 25 years as a sports and financial spread betting provider. The business expanded to offer fixed odds betting in 2010, casino betting in 2011 and CFD trading in 2017. Spreadex is the only global operator to offer all these services under one brand.

After 25 years of sustained profits, we’re now looking to take the next step and materially grow the business in the next 5 years on both the sports and financials side. Our ambitious plans are being supported by a material increase in our Marketing Budget and our expansion into Denmark.

This opening provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join a growing team in a vibrant office based in St Albans, just outside London. The role will have an option to introduce working from home after 6 months service.

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Service Desk Analyst with knowledge and passion in IT and technology. This position requires an individual with excellent written and verbal communication, and good organisation and prioritisation skills.

The successful candidate will be providing support to our users. You will prioritise and respond to tickets that come from multiple channels such as email, phone, chat, and walk-ups. These are raised mostly by internal users; however you will be expected to communicate with our customers from time to time to help them resolve technical issues.

When required you will perform diagnostic and root cause analysis. In addition, you will be involved in the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks, including installing, configuring, and patching computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.

ABOUT YOU

Requirements:

  • Prior experience helping users in a Service Desk role

  • Pro-active attitude with a desire to help people

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Good organisation and prioritising skills

  • Windows desktop administration (Windows 11)

You'll get to work on:

  • Exchange server admin (Exchange 2019 & Exchange Online)

  • Active Directory and Group Policy

  • Administration of Entra ID / Intune / SCCM

  • Office / O365 applications including Teams

  • Microsoft Defender
