THE ROLE:
Ensure that the cargo is ready on time for loading by following-up the export shipments with customers. He/ she is focused on CMA CGM (Group) cargo on export calls for POL local cargo.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loading Intention
• Contact customers and re-confirm the loading intention of their bookings
• Perform Booking modifications/amendments as per customer feedback.
• Contact customers for final notification by phone for missing information and getting cargo ready to load.
• Monitor and update FCL cut off in I-Cut off
Perform Pre-Call Cleaning
• Ensure all hazardous bookings are approved & necessary documentation provided/validated prior loading
• All special bookings are checked for its readiness
• Ensure all Bookings are duly updated with VGM details
• Ensure all necessary documentation are submitted (Customs, operations, destinations customs, etc) prior loading of export cargo
Manage Cargo at Risk
• Facilitate customer demands for Late Gate receivals with Operations/terminals
• Follow up on local cargo shut outs (cut and runs), perform (for own bookings) and monitor (for x-bookings) LARA updates to inform Cargo Ops & Cargo Flow after completion.
Manage Contingency Events
• Coordinate with related internal teams and follow up to ensure Resolution for customer last minute problems.
• Manage all activities caused due to operational contingencies.
• Work on handover file to operations and provide instruction to GBS for rolling cargo.
Perform Final Load List
• Provide & maintain handover with cargo readiness status to relevant stakeholders to maximize vessel call.
• Provide final complete load list to operations
Manage Post Departure Updates
• Post departure exceptions management (overlanded & short, landed units)
Monitor performance
• Entry point for operations matters within Customer Care Direction.
• Analyze KPIs and identify customer behavior patterns to eventually take decision on readiness.
Key Performance Indicators:
• Cargo readiness % per voyage > 90%
• Final loadlist handover to Operations
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE:
• Strong knowledge in Shipping Industry (minimum 5 years of experience)
• Graduate (3 years regular course ) Any bachelor degree or Equivalent University Degree
• Knowledge of commercial policy and offers
• Knowledge of dangerous / special cargo or commodity
• Knowledge of port / country regulations
• Knowledge of the legal and / or regulatory frame
• Commercial relation
