The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

Service SA delivers frontline government services, including vehicle and driver licensing, registrations, permits and customer support.

We are seeking a customer-focused and adaptable individual with strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, empathy, initiative and sound judgement, with the ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality services in a fast-paced environment.

Special Conditions

  • Must be prepared to be reassigned to different Service SA locations during periods of staff absences and high workloads or as required to meet business needs.
  • A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
  • Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.

Multiple Positions Ongoing and Temporary appointments of up to one (1) year are available.

Remuneration

ASO3 - $74,095 to $78,694 pa + superannuation.
