Hey you!

genU is looking for an experienced and hands-on Disability Services Team Leader (Service Delivery Leader) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads from the front.

This is a frontline leadership role supporting people living with disability in accommodation and community settings. You’ll take ownership of service delivery, from supporting complex care needs, to mentoring your team and building strong relationships with the people we support.

If you enjoy being close to the action, developing your team, and delivering high-quality, person-centred outcomes, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.

What you’ll do

As a Service Delivery Leader, you’ll:

  • Lead the delivery of person-centred support across supported accommodation and community programs
  • Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and developing support workers
  • Support people with complex needs, including implementing and monitoring Behaviour Support Plans
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure NDIS compliance, safeguarding standards, and accurate documentation, contributing to continuous improvement
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support service continuity

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience within disability services
  • Proven experience supporting people with complex needs and Behaviour Support Plans
  • Certificate IV in Disability (or higher), or willingness to obtain
  • Strong capability in leading, coaching and developing frontline teams
  • Solid understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and compliance frameworks
  • Confidence in operational management, including administration and stakeholder engagement

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

Why you’ll love working at genU

At genU, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and respectful space where everyone is empowered to play their part in the important work that we do.

We welcome diversity in all its forms including disability, culture, gender, age, sexuality and religion and celebrate the unique perspectives and experience each of us brings.

You’ll also get

  • Salary packaging - up to $15,900 tax-free plus meal/entertainment benefits
  • Purchased leave options - the ability to buy additional annual leave to support work-life balance and flexibility.
  • Discounts - savings at 450+ retailers including Coles, Woolworths & JB Hi-Fi
  • University Study Discount - Enjoy a 25% fee reduction for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Torrens University.
  • Wellbeing support - 24/7 access to a holistic employee assistance program
  • Referral bonus - bring great people with you and be rewarded

C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten Association

About C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten Association

Established in 1907, C&K is proud to be the largest and longest established provider of community based early childhood education and care services in Queensland.

Our philosophy, where children come first, emphasises the fact that for C&K the interests of children are paramount. Any profits generated from our services are returned to benefit children and the community.

We are committed to providing quality education and care for your child’s pre-schooling years (from birth to school age) in an environment − both inside and outside − that enables children to explore, satisfy their natural curiosity and grow as individuals. Independent research indicates that children who have enjoyed a C&K early learning experience are the most successful in their first years of schooling.

Over the last century hundreds of thousands of Queensland children and parents have become part of the C&K family. As a community based association we recognise the valuable role families and the wider community play in children’s education and care.
