  • Identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Service Delivery & Technical Operations

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre services, including installations, break-fix operations, hardware refreshes, maintenance, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical infrastructure environments.
  • Oversee incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.
  • Ensure achievement of all agreed service levels, operational metrics, and customer commitments.
  • Drive operational efficiency through standardisation, automation, and best practice adoption.
  • Lead major incident response and executive communications during critical service events.

Customer Engagement

  • Act as the executive sponsor for service delivery and operational performance.
  • Lead regular business reviews, service governance meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Translate technical issues and operational challenges into clear business outcomes and recommendations.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence with customer stakeholders and champion a customer-first culture throughout the organisation.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a safety-first culture across all data centre operations.
  • Ensure compliance with EOS policies, customer standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee safe working practices relating to hardware installations, server deployments, cabling activities, and critical facility operations.
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programmes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, compliance, operational resilience, and service quality.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing global teams.
  • Foster collaboration across regions, functions, and customer organisations.
  • Support employee development, succession planning, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Promote EOS values and create an environment where teams can perform at their highest level.

Commercial & Operational Governance

  • Own operational performance, forecasting, budgeting, and financial accountability.
  • Manage third-party suppliers and partners to ensure contractual obligations and service expectations are met.
  • Support contract renewals, service growth opportunities, and business development initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance insights to both customer and EOS leadership teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing server lifecycle activities, hardware deployments, asset management, and break-fix operations.
  • Understanding of critical environment operations, infrastructure monitoring, automation, and operational resilience.
  • Strong knowledge of incident, change, problem, and service management practices.
  • ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience preferred.

Leadership Experience
