We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven leader to join our management team as Service Delicatessen & Seafood Manager at New World Fendalton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead two of our key fresh food departments and play an integral role in delivering the exceptional product quality and customer experience that our store is known for.

As Service Delicatessen & Seafood Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the departments, leading and developing your team, maintaining high food safety and presentation standards, and driving sales and profitability.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fresh food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding results through great leadership.

1. Key Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
• Delivering exceptional customer service and creating an engaging shopping experience
• Managing department sales, margins, and productivity targets
• Maintaining excellent food safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Planning production levels and managing stock effectively
• Ensuring departments are well presented, fully stocked, and commercially focused
• Building a positive team culture focused on performance and customer satisfaction

• Proven leadership experience, ideally within a supermarket.
• A genuine passion for food and customer service
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and people leadership abilities

• Experience in food preparation and food safety practices
