Service Deli Assistant - Full Time, Fixed Term Maternity Cover

New World Fendalton is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Service Deli Assistant to join our busy Service Deli team.

This is a full-time, fixed term position for 12 months, providing maternity cover.

As part of our Service Deli team, you will help prepare and present fresh food, serve customers, keep the department well stocked, and maintain excellent food safety and cleanliness standards.

You’ll be joining a supportive team environment where great customer service, teamwork, and a positive attitude are valued every day.

About the role:

• Serving customers from the Service Deli cabinets and delivering excellent customer service
• Preparing and presenting a range of fresh hot and cold food, including salads, sandwiches, pizzas, catering orders, and hot chickens
• Keeping cabinets full, fresh, tidy, and well presented
• Following all food safety, health and safety, and cleaning requirements
• Supporting the team with daily preparation, cleaning, and department tasks

Hours of work:

• Monday 6.30am-3.30pm
• Tuesday 6.30am-3.30pm
• Wednesday 6.30am-3.30pm
• Thursday 6.30am-3.30pm
• Sunday 6.30am-3.30pm

This is a full-time position. There may also be opportunities to pick up and cover additional shifts when required.
