
Salary: €35,000 to €40,000 per year, depending on experience

We have a great opportunity for a Service Coordinator to join a busy and well-established service team in Galway. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day running of the Service Department, working closely with the Service Manager, field service engineers, customers, and internal teams.
The successful candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Assist the Service Manager with the daily operations of the Service Department
Prepare estimates for outstanding and ongoing repairs and obtain customer approval
Liaise with customers via phone and email, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally
Coordinate and schedule jobs for field service engineers
Support the Parts Department when required
Invoice customers in a timely manner and ensure all associated paperwork is completed accurately
Manage calendars, service schedules, and events as required
Assist with department meetings and site visits
Identify customer needs and provide accurate, complete information to resolve issues
Support other departments when needed to ensure smooth overall operations
Customer service experience is essential
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
Confident computer skills, including Word and Excel
A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
Self-motivated with the ability to plan, prioritise, and organise daily duties
Comfortable handling routine tasks with limited supervision
Previous experience in a similar service, coordination, or administration role
Experience in parts or stores
Basic mechanical knowledge of plant machinery or the motor trade
Experience working in a service, engineering, or technical environment
This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and a willingness to assist across departments
Some manual lifting will be required
Full training will be provided
