Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of
IT support, computer and office equipment repairs, and maintenance services.
They are seeking an IT Coordinator to oversee technical operations, lead
support teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to clients in Barbados.

Duties
& Responsibilities:

Service
Delivery & Client Support:

• 
  Manage contracts (contractor and
  subcontractor) for break-fix and installation operations for client networks,
  servers, desktops, laptops, workstations, and services.
• 
  Escalate complex IT issues regarding
  network architecture or security breaches.
• 
  Integrate hardware like SFPs, MFPs
  & Scanners into client IT networks.
• 
  Network Setup: Install routers,
  switches, and cabling for new client offices

Team
Leadership & Partner Agreements:

• 
  Hire and train IT support
  specialists and field service technicians.
• 
  Evaluate technician performance
  using metrics like first-time fix rates.
• 
  Help negotiate partner agreements
  with software providers, distributors, and OEMs.
• 
  Maintain partner certifications with
  key manufacturers like Fortinet, Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, and HP.

Strategic
Sales Support:

• 
  Assist sales teams by acting as a
  technical subject matter expert during pitches.
• 
  Design technical scopes of work
  (SOW) for new client onboarding for IT services.
• 
  Identify upsell opportunities from
  basic break-fix services to fully managed contracts.

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Computer
  Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 
  Minimum of 5 years of
  experience in IT support with least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• 
  CompTIA Network+ and/or
  Security+ certification preferred.
• 
  Knowledge of Windows
  Server and Office 365.
• 
  Knowledge of firewalls,
  switches, VPNs, routing, and VLAN configurations.
• 
  Experience with EDR,
  IAM, firewalls, and vulnerability patching.
• 
  Familiarity with print
  servers, network scanning, and MFP connectivity.
