About This Job

The Service Coordinator is responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing team in line with the overall Service strategy and the Alfa Laval culture in order to:

  • Planning and coordination of internal service requests with customers, Field Service Engineers and/or external service providers.
  • Progress service jobs and provide information to all key stakeholders.
  • Create an excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure team compliance with Labor Laws and safety policies.
  • Reviewing the Service Request
  • Planning and daily management of service engineers work schedules.
  • Manage engineers further actions/leads from service reports.
  • Ensure that jobs are executed according to importance in close cooperation with Team Managers.
  • Support and input complex/non standard quotations for Field Service in order to meet company/divisional targets.
  • Ensure timely control of order backlog and credit queries.
  • Control Field Service order backlog and ensure consistent flow of relevant information from Field Service to Customer Service allowingfor timely customer invoicing.
  • Monitoring of special tools, certifications, work permits and travel security.
  • Administration of Service Agreements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and maintenance in internal systems.

Qualifications & Professional Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in service coordination, customer service, operations support, or a similar role.
  • Experience with ERP systems and service management platforms is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is an advantage.
