The position of Service coordinator is established to dispatch, plan, organize and monitor activities within the Service Department and to ensure the productive, efficient and safe activities of field services, as directed by the established Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills)
Basic knowledge and understanding of the Commercial / Industrial Generator service industry is desired, but not required.
Excellent customer support, follow up and service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent listening and cognitive understanding skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Ability to learn/work within Company ERP System.
Accurate data entry.
Ability to interpret field-provided documents and service reports.
Able to develop & maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to work as a contributive member of a high-performing team.
High School Graduate or GED
1-2 years of related experience is preferred, but not required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispatch field resources and assign preventive maintenance and service/repair work based on technician’s skill set and location.
Coordinate workflow of all field service requests.
Field phone calls and respond to internal and external emails.
Analyze daily reports to determine status of open jobs.
Open and review work orders to ensure timely completion of customer requests.
Keep Supervisor up to date regarding current work in progress
Work well in a team-oriented environment.
Always maintain professional composure.
Follow all company standards and procedures.
Provide an excellent example of customer service on all levels for the company.
