About ITEX Group:
Founded in 2002, ITEX Group is a privately held real estate investment and property management firm operating apartment communities across Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Colorado. We are committed to building a workplace where people grow, contribute, and are recognized for their hard work.
About the Role:
W. Leo Daniels Towers is a 99-unit independent living community serving elderly residents and persons with disabilities. As the Service Coordinator, you are the on-site advocate who helps residents access the services and resources they need to continue living independently — healthcare, benefits, meal programs, transportation, and social connections. This position is funded through HUD’s Service Coordinators in Multifamily Housing (SCMF) program and is dedicated entirely to resident well-being. This role requires a regular on-site presence with flexibility for some administrative work to be completed offsite.
What You’ll Do:
This position is funded by a HUD grant and is dedicated exclusively to resident supportive services. The Service Coordinator does not perform property management functions (rent collection, lease enforcement, maintenance, or administrative tasks for the management company). This separation is required by HUD.
What We’re Looking For:
You care about people — particularly older adults and individuals with disabilities who need someone in their corner. You’re resourceful, organized, and comfortable working independently. You know how to listen, follow up, and get things done in a community where trust matters more than titles.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary based on experience
Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; paid time off
Paid training and professional development, including HUD-required courses
A meaningful role where your work directly impacts residents’ independence
The ITEX Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
