Service Coordinator Conhagen – Keeping Industry Moving Location: Kenner, LA Full-Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits

As a Service Coordinator, you'll assist Project Managers, service teams, and technicians by coordinating the day-to-day aspects of service delivery—both in the shop and at customer sites—ensuring smooth scheduling, resource availability, clear communication, accurate records, and exceptional customer support for ongoing and reactive service work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in assessing customer service needs and preparing supporting information for proposals, quotes, and work orders related to rotating equipment repair and maintenance.
• Support coordination of field and shop service activities, including helping track technician assignments, progress, and resolution of coordination issues to minimize downtime.
• Help organize and secure technical resources, expertise, materials, and third-party services needed for efficient service execution.
• Coordinate procurement of parts, materials, and vendor services required for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Facilitate professional communication between Conhagen teams, technicians, customers, and vendors; maintain detailed documentation, service records, and updates.
• Assist with service billing processes, including tracking job costs, preparing supporting documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
• Represent Conhagen professionally in all customer and vendor interactions, promoting our commitment to reliability and quality.
• Support identification of follow-up service opportunities and collaborate with sales and project teams to secure repeat or additional work.
• Help develop and organize work scopes, schedules, and practical solutions to meet customer equipment service needs.
• Assist in supporting the technical development of skilled personnel through coordination with supervisors and management.
• Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and service delivery enhancements as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in service coordination, administrative support, scheduling, or operations within industrial services, field service, equipment repair/maintenance, rotating machinery, or similar environments.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Solid communication skills (verbal and written) for customer, technician, and vendor interactions.
• Familiarity with procurement, work order management, documentation, and billing/invoicing support.
• Customer-service oriented with a professional, proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Comfortable working in both shop and field service settings (some travel may be required to support on-site coordination).
• Proficiency with office tools, service tracking software, or CMMS systems (a plus).
• Eagerness to learn the technical side of rotating equipment services (pumps, turbines, compressors, etc.) and grow within a dynamic service organization.
