The Service Consultant role provides essential administrative, operational, and logistical support across the business. This is an excellent entry

level role into the Insurance sector, with high exposure to multiple stakeholders within the business with additional cross-skilling into

Accounts Receivable as part of development within the role.

Office Services:

  • Opening and scanning all inbound mail.
  • Scanning and indexing of inbound correspondence.
  • Delivery and collection of mail to business partners across Sydney office.
  • Supporting storage files online & assisting Business Units in delivering files recalled.
  • Printing and posting ad-hoc mailings daily
  • Courier booking, receipt, and support
  • Receiving invoices & creating purchase orders for mail services.
  • Banking of cheques.
  • Downloading UHG reports
  • Undertaking Quality Assurance checking for peers.
  • Ensuring that the mailroom office complies with health and safety standards to maintain a safe workplace whilst performing duties.
  • Ensuring Allocated work completed within agreed Service standards with high quality output.
  • Support to Stakeholders:
  • Assist other Service teams in other areas (including call Centre) to help achieve departmental goals during peak periods.
  • Handling exceptions and enquiries from internal business partners.
  • Aid the business with the recall of files for LEO from Iron Mountain
  • Input into content review for Procedure Guides.
  • Ensure adherence with TAL’s Risk framework and guidelines.

With our Offshore Partners:

  • Provide investigative technical support for queries outside standard processes, including complex and exceptional cases.

  • Think innovatively and challenge the status quo, embedding changes that add value to customers and partners.
  • Contribute to proactive and consistent service, identifying and resolving issues and opportunities.
