
The Accounting Clerk, under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services or designee, performs clerical work involving the preparation and maintenance of financial and statistical records, balances and reconciles accounts, prepares payments, processes documents related to financial matters, issues receipts in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles of the California School Accounting Manual, legal requirements of the state and federal agencies, and the Campbell Union High School District Policies and Regulations.

At least two years of financial recordkeeping or accounting in public school business services or related field.Career characterized by increasing levels of responsibility.
Light to moderate physical effort, frequent standing or walking, periodic handling of lightweight supplies. Rapid paced work, moderate to high levels of stress. Indoor office and school site environment.
Daily contact with District Office staff, school and district administration, teachers, support staff, and business community. Occasional contact with community, parents, and Board of Trustees.
