The Role:

This full-time Pump Workshop Service Technician rolewith XYLEM in Kemps Creekis an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of water solutions. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of water and wastewater equipment

If you have a mechanical mindset and enjoy hands-on work, this is a great opportunity to be part of a skilled team maintaining and repairing Xylem equipment, including Flygt and Godwin pump units.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency assessments, servicing, and repairs on our pumps and rental fleet, both on-site and in our service workshop.

  • Clean, strip, and overhaul customer pump sets and products.

  • Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and instructions.

  • Inspect and test products before dispatch.

  • Provide clear and accurate advice to colleagues and customers on service, workshop, and product-related issues.

  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports on all work undertaken.

About You:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude and ideally you will possess relevant trade qualification as a Fitter or Electrician or other relevant trade qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations
