This position is part-time with the following bi-weekly schedule:
Four days a week 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Every other Saturday 9:00 AM - 1:15 PM
Four days a week 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
This is a total of 64.25 hours per pay period.
The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2026. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $23.22 - $31.83 per hour.
This position is part of the Civil Service Basic Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement represented by Council 5 of AFSCME.

An employee in this class is responsible for a wide variety of customer service related transactions. Duties include evaluating, reviewing documents for inaccuracies or possible fraud, preparing and processing Minnesota identification card applications, driver's license applications, processing and renewing registrations for vehicles and recreational vehicles, and completing title transfers; accepting and processing passports; issuing Department of Natural Resources (DNR) titles, licenses and renewals; and receiving payments for property taxes. The work is performed under the direction of assigned supervisory staff.

CONSTANT: Near and midrange vision; visual accommodation; hear within 20 feet; grip; pinch and hand dexterity; and work inside.
