As part of Global Business Services, the Buyer – Buy Desk supports streamlined and compliant procurement operations by executing purchase transactions, managing requisitions, and ensuring timely and cost effective acquisition of goods and services while delivering strong support to internal stakeholders.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of goods and services to support business operations

• Execute purchase requisitions accurately while adhering to procurement policies and compliance standards

• Drive cost savings through smart sourcing, supplier negotiations, and value-based buying decisions

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations

• Act as a reliable procurement partner to internal stakeholders by providing clear updates on order status

• Contribute to continuous improvement of buying processes and procurement efficiency

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within supply chain or operations

• Strong understanding of vendor sourcing, supplier evaluation, and market dynamics

• Effective negotiation skills with the ability to secure best pricing and contract terms

• Ability to analyze market trends, budgets, and cost structures to support informed buying decisions

• Strong coordination skills to work closely with inventory, warehouse, finance, and management teams

• Comfortable using procurement systems, purchasing software, and MS Office tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

• Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable cost savings or process improvements

• Ability to proactively identify supply risks and recommend alternate sourcing strategies

• Experience in handling high-volume transactions with excellent accuracy and turnaround time

• Strong problem-solving mindset with quick resolution of quality or delivery issues

• Clear, confident communicator who builds long-term supplier partnerships

• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems and procurement analytics

• Willingness to challenge existing buying practices and suggest smarter procurement solutions
