We’re looking for First Nations mob with hospitality experience or transferrable skills and a positive can-do attitude to join us! Your next journey is here with Sodexo!

  • Full-time positions require ability to commit to a consistent 2 week-on, 1 week-off roster. Fly-in/Fly-out from Perth airport

  • Casual roles require flexibility and reliability to work across changing swings and rosters, with opportunity to visit different sites and gain experience across a variety service attendant areas

What do Service Attendants do?

Service attendants are hospitality-minded specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home:

  • Housekeeping/cleaning accommodation rooms (aka “dongas”)

  • Assisting in the kitchen and dining room service areas - food handling and food preparation required

  • Mine site cleaning of offices, crib rooms and ablution blocks

  • Providing customer service in the tavern or retail shop

  • Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas

What does it take to work FIFO?

The FIFO lifestyle can be very rewarding, but it isn’t for everyone.

Things you need to think about before applying:

  • We work 12-hour shifts, either day or night shifts as needed.

  • Flying to and from sites and being away from your family for 2 weeks at a time.

  • Able to stay in remote environments in extreme weather conditions.

  • Be able to multi-task and assist in other areas with a positive teamwork approach.

  • Understand the requirements of safe work and safety procedures.

  • Ability to undergo a full pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and National Police Clearance.

  • WA drivers licence preferred
