Service & Quality Manager

Location: Sydney Northern Suburbs
Salary: $150,000 + Super + Car Allowance

About the Company

Our client is a well-established premium residential builder with an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer experience. With a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in their operations team, they are seeking an experienced Service & Quality Assurance Manager to lead their post-construction functions.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll oversee both the Service and Quality Assurance teams, playing a key leadership role in ensuring homes are delivered to the highest standards while providing an exceptional customer experience throughout the warranty period.

The Opportunity

This is a rare leadership opportunity for an experienced residential construction professional looking to step into a broad operational role. You'll be responsible for leading Quality Assurance Officers and Service Supervisors while working closely with Construction, Customer Service, Drafting, Product Development and external trades to continually improve quality outcomes.

The role combines technical expertise, people leadership and operational management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys driving continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance and Service teams.
• Oversee quality inspections throughout the construction process and prior to handover.
• Manage warranty, maintenance and defect rectification activities.
• Coordinate Service Supervisors, trades and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Monitor quality, service and maintenance KPIs, including budgets and repair costs.
• Work closely with Construction, Drafting and Product Development teams to improve build quality and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality assurance and customer service functions.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Extensive experience within residential construction, warranty, maintenance or quality assurance.
• Previous leadership experience managing supervisors or technical teams.
• A strong understanding of residential construction methods and quality standards.
• Trade qualifications (Carpentry highly regarded).
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes while maintaining high construction standards.
