Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Create and manage repair orders in the dealership management system
- Communicate recommended services, timelines, and estimates clearly to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient repairs
- Provide regular updates to customers throughout the service process
- Promote maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended repairs when appropriate
- Ensure a positive customer experience from write-up to vehicle delivery
Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits
The Certified Line Technician position is paid on a pay scale that may include one or more of the following compensation elements:
- Hourly

compensation, which varies based on experience, certifications, skill level, and performance
- Production‑based incentive compensation, which may be earned based on individual and/or team productivity
- Retention‑based incentive compensation, which may be earned based on hours produced
The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $33.80 to $49.00 per hour. Actual compensation within this range will be determined by job‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and performance. Incentive and bonus compensation are not guaranteed and may be zero if applicable performance benchmarks are not met.

QualificationsService Advisor

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in a dealership environment strongly preferred
- Strong sales and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of maintenance and repair processes
- Comfortable using computers, dealership software, and digital inspection tools
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high CSI scores
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

The Gee Automotive Companies began in 1983 when George Gee opened a Pontiac dealership in Spokane, Washington, which quickly became the largest in the state. In 1991, the company added GMC to its offerings, and in 2000, it relocated to new facilities in Liberty Lake, WA.

In 2003, Ryan Gee became President and CEO, building on his parents' legacy by expanding the company to include Buick, Porsche of Spokane, Kia in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene, and Cadillac in Coeur d'Alene.
