Hall Nissan in Virginia Beach has a busy service team, and we are now adding a Service Advisor Assistant who will partner with our Service Advisors and Service Manager in providing premier customer service. This position is Monday-Friday, with a pay range of $18-$20/hour based on candidate qualifications.

The Service Advisor Assistant will assist in greeting customers, listening to descriptions of vehicles concerns/problems or service needed, and determining the type of service required. This associate will also serve as a rental agent for loaner vehicles, issue purchase orders, scan repair orders, and assume other administrative responsibilities as directed.
Essential Duties:
- Greets customers entering the service area and directs them to the appropriate person or location
- Controls service traffic flow and parking
- Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment
- Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
- Manage loaner/rental vehicles
- Issue purchase orders
- Scan repair orders
- Assists lot attendant with duties at the service counter
- Assists Service Advisors and Service Manager in other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have valid driver’s license; with 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years
- Dealership experience a plus
- Ability to multitask in a high volume environment and build relationships with clients to ensure high level of customer service, return business and referrals
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
