Service Advisor / Writer

Acura of Ellicott City

Are you an experienced Service Advisor who's ready for a new challenge and a great schedule? If you are customer-focused, energetic and friendly, Acura of Ellicott City wants to talk to you! We are searching for an Automotive Service Advisor to manage the center of communications for all repair activities and act as a liaison between customers and the dealership. You will be well versed in automotive service matters and thoroughly understand the customer's problems to set and manage expectations. We want the customer to receive first-class service at our dealership. Previous Acura or Honda experience a plus.

Salary & Schedule

• Base salary of $26,000 plus commission for an all in of $80k+. Biweekly pay and monthly commission
• Full Time Monday - Friday and every 4th Saturday

Responsibilities

• Maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) rating as set by dealership service manager
• Schedule appointments and generate estimates for customers
• Advise customers on the appropriate maintenance required to their vehicle based on manufacturer’s specifications
• Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion (CDK experience a plus)
• Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities
• Establish and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with customers to encourage customer retention and referral business
• Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time
• All other duties as assigned
