Job Description
We are looking for a talented Service Administrator to join our team specializing in Service for Cummins Berkshire, United Kingdom.
This role is a fulltime onsite position.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email, building positive relationships and responding promptly to service-related inquiries and requests.
- Coordinate and schedule planned and unplanned service events, ensuring efficient allocation of Field and Shop Technicians to meet customer and operational needs.
- Create, update, and maintain work orders and service documentation within operating systems such as SAP and Cummins Guidanz.
- Monitor and manage day-to-day Work in Progress (WIP), ensuring timely follow-up, accurate updates, and completion of service activities.
- Raise service invoices for retail and warranty repairs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Segment and Branch AOP targets.
- Escalate technical issues to Cummins CARE and collaborate with internal teams to support timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Support operational performance by tracking and contributing to the achievement of UK Service KPIs, service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Job Safety Assessments (JSOs) with Field and Shop Technicians and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. while supporting sales teams with current and new business opportunities.
- Cross functional Collaboration: You work with CUK Sales team to identify service opportunities and contribute to Business growth.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong customer service experience with the ability to build positive customer relationships, deliver customer-focused solutions, and communicate effectively across different audiences.
- Working knowledge of SAP and service administration processes, with the ability to accurately manage service documentation, invoicing, and operational activities.
- Understanding of warranty processes and procedures, including experience supporting retail and warranty repair administration.
- Good financial acumen with the ability to interpret key financial indicators, prioritize work effectively, and support operational and business performance goals.
- Technical understanding: Working knowledge of engines, and service operations to support technical escalations.
Education/ Experience:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
