Job Description
As a Server in our iconic venues, you'll help create unforgettable dining experiences that celebrate live music and great food. You'll take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure each table receives attentive service from start to finish as prescribed in our steps of service, SOPs and training guidelines. In our fast paced, high-energy venue you'll bring fast service, understanding that every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences.
- Greet all guests promptly with a smile and welcome. Engage in conversation to cultivate repeat business. Share information about daily entertainment and upcoming events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menus and daily specials. Respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, beverage options, and entertainment. Suggestively sell to boost sales.
- Communicate allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the staff leadership.
- Proactively address guest needs. Resolve concerns with professionalism and positivity. Stay visible in dining areas to support guest needs.
- Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence.
- Take food and beverage orders. Input them into POS system accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and guests.
- Deliver food and beverage orders promptly, verifying accuracy and presentation. Carry large trays of food and drinks through crowded areas and on stairs and operate a tray jack in public spaces.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures, operate POS terminals accurately, handle payments securely, and reconcile financials at the end of the shift.
- Maintain clean and orderly dining and service areas during and after service. Clear and clean guest tables as needed. Follow health and sanitation procedures in both public areas and back of house.
- Setup and breakdown event spaces and corresponding stations, including moving tables, chairs, food stations, transporting supplies, placing linens, decor, etc., in preparation for service, Assist with seating arrangements.
- Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Experience in restaurant operations preferred
- POS and cash handling experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated team player and self-starter
- Standard food preparation/presentation knowledge
- Knowledge of sprits, beer, and wine
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously with efficiency and a positive, friendly demeanor
- Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs
Licenses / Certifications
- State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire
- State Food Handler Card required upon hire
Physical Requirements
Speak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate with guests. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Walk up and down stairs while navigating the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to and over 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods. Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills tasks such as using a computer and handling dishes.
Working Conditions
Restaurant/bar/live music environments, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
