Position Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer supports the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of enterprise server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup environments. This role is ideal for a fluent English speaker with 1 to 3 years of experience who is ready to grow within a global technology team while helping maintain secure, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise server, virtualization, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot technical incidents and service issues, supporting timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Help improve infrastructure availability, resilience, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in incident, problem, and service management activities, including technical documentation and lessons learned.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle refreshes, and project implementations.
• Assist with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing and improvement activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational consistency.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, network, security, vendor, and project teams to deliver reliable services.
• Participate in 24x7x365 on-call and out-of-hours support as required.
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, server support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup infrastructure.
• Understanding of incident, problem, and change management practices; ITIL awareness preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, support RCA activities, and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Exposure to infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, Disaster Recovery, or Business Continuity activities.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to support on-call, weekend, public holiday, or after-hours activities when required.
• Service-oriented, detail-focused, and motivated to learn and improve infrastructure operations.
