The Opportunity

As part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, you will work across complex server platforms, contribute to strategic infrastructure initiatives and solve challenging technical problems. You will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise across modern infrastructure technologies while helping to deliver secure, reliable and high-performing services for our customers.

You can be based either in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

A minimum Active NV1 clearance is essential to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist administration, management and support for secure server platforms across enterprise and government customer environments.
  • Deliver and support Windows, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, DHCP and related infrastructure technologies.
  • Diagnose, restore and resolve complex platform incidents while ensuring service levels and customer commitments are achieved.
  • Manage operational activities including incident management, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle maintenance and project delivery.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of secure platform services and operational processes.
  • Apply ITIL-based practices across Incident, Problem, Change and Service Management disciplines.
  • Support lifecycle ownership of server platforms, ensuring technology remains secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster to provide after-hours support when required.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
  • Champion security, risk management and compliance requirements within highly secure operational environments.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

You will ideally bring:

  • 5+ years' experience administering enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Strong experience supporting and administering Microsoft Active Directory platforms.
  • Experience across technologies such as VMware, DHCP and Windows Server.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting production environments and delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management practices and operational support processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement, automation and operational excellence.
  • A commitment to inclusive teamwork, knowledge sharing and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
