Our client a leading technology services company is looking hire Server Engineer.

As a member of team, the Technology Analyst works closely with service delivery team to provide level II and level III support to the support operations and at times also required to work on client’s infrastructure set up / upgrade project.

Responsibilities

• Work in IT Managed Services Team providing technical guidance to teammates and technical support to clients.
• Act as IT infrastructure senior Level II / subject matter expert / Level III engineer on solving different IT infrastructure problems.
• Act as escalation point for other team members on IT infrastructure problems.
• Actively monitor client’s infrastructures and execute preventive measures to prevent problems / issues from happening.
• Work with helpdesk team leader on providing top level service to our clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide infrastructure advice both internally and to clients on improving system efficacy, stability, performance and security.
• Work with other teammates to design and execute technology solutions / projects.
• Develop junior teammates on technical skill sets.
• Maintain update records of client’s IT infrastructure.
• Understand and deploy company culture and standards.
• Remains contactable via phone out of office hours.
• Flexible on work hours including weekend and public holidays.

Requirements

• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Fluency in spoken Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Ability to deliver results in an efficient manner in constrained timeframes.
• Able to work under stress.
• Industry certifications would be an advantage (such as MCSE / MCITP, Microsoft MS / AZ, VCAP, VCP, CISSP, CISA, etc.).
• Solid and strong hands on experience on Microsoft Windows Server technologies is a must.
• Solid and strong experience with multi-sites infrastructure deployment.
• Solid and strong hands on experience on IT infrastructure including servers, storages, data backups, replications, network, UPS, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, within the company and at all levels of clients.
• 5+ year experience in a technology support role.
• 3+ year experience and above in an senior engineer role.
• Previous experience in a service provider environment is an advantage.
• Trade floor or financial services IT experience would be an advantage.
• Diploma or above in fields of Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalentstrong hands on skills with Windows server, Active Directory, VMware, Email servers / service, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, at least some if not all)
