Operating in the hospitality and restaurant industry for nearly 50 years, Gray Collection is an award-winning group of authentically local hotels and restaurants that offer travelers from around the world the experience of friendly luxury. Among our establishments are Maggie Oakes, Jacopo, Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Pincette, Bevo Bar+Pizzeria, Restaurant Gaspar, Terrasse le Perché, Terrasse William Gray, and Terrasse sur l’Auberge.

The Server advises guests, takes orders, and serves food and beverages in the dining room. More broadly, this role collaborates with other dining room team members to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up the dining room appropriately before the start of service;
• Advise guests and take orders;
• Serve ordered food and beverages;
• Check on guest satisfaction whenever possible throughout the dining experience;
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries;
• Process bills and payments at the end of the meal;
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, dining room, and restrooms;
• Perform any other related duties required to ensure smooth service operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant experience;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Strong interest in teamwork and collaboration;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Availability to work evenings and weekends;
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken.
